Who We Are at Advanced Edge Hockey
Our Story
Gary Klapkowski, Owner and Head Trainer, started Advanced Edge Hockey giving on-ice lessons when he was only nineteen years old while playing in the Ontario Hockey League (O.H.L.).
Today, Gary continues to give private and group on-ice lessons at Ice Castle Arena in Castle Shannon. He also hosts summer camps focusing on skills & skating development and conditioning. Additionally, in 2015, Gary opened a training studio specializing in personalized training for hockey players from the ADM level to Junior/College. Although Advanced Edge Hockey Training has grown over the years, Gary has stayed dedicated to what matters most - the development of his hockey players both on and off the ice.
Currently, Gary is the Pittsburgh Predators
U18 AAA and U18 AA Head Coach.
Our Philosophy
At Advanced Edge Hockey, we teach simple, hard, fast, heads-up hockey. We teach you how to do the simple things as hard and as fast as you can. We focus on full-speed game-applicable skill training to ensure your player is performing at his or her highest level.
